Many organizations have installed Microsoft Exchange server. This has led to greater efficiency in working together.
However, this imposes an increased administrative burden on key technical personnel. With Account Central, the burden is removed and the accuracy of the Microsoft Exchange database is ensured.
Account Central allows secretaries, supervisors or other authorized personnel, without Admin. privileges or the Exchange Admin. password, to update certain portions of the Microsoft Exchange directory records. This makes is possible to have both the Microsoft Exchange database up-to-date and still have key technical personnel focusing on technical questions.
Authentication complies with Exchange/NT/2000/2003 security procedures, but does not require the use of the Exchange Admin facility.
